Katie Billmaier, DVM
Dr. Katie Billmaier came to care for pets at the Animal Medical and Surgical Center in 2011. She is an Ohio native and has traveled great lengths to pursue her veterinary career. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Findlay in Findlay, OH, she traveled to the Caribbean island of St. Kitts where she received her veterinary degree from Ross University. Upon completing her clinical year at Auburn University, Dr. Billmaier practiced veterinary medicine in Northern Virginia.
Dr. Billmaier has made Canton home with her 4-legged children; 4 cats (Annie, Marlowe, Lola and Caribelle) and 2 dogs (Logan and Willow). In her free time, Dr. Katie enjoys traveling, dining out, dancing and anything involving the water, and she also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Katie's professional interests include internal medicine and dentistry with emphasis on feline and geriatric medicine. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association and Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.
