Michael Christopher, DVM
Dr. Michael Christopher moved to Canton in 1984 and joined the Animal Medical & Surgical Center medical team in Canton, Georgia 1998. Dr. Mike attended Auburn University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal and Dairy Science and, in 1981, his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he completed an internship in St. Petersburg, Florida and practiced veterinary medicine in Florence, Alabama, and Carrollton, Georgia.
Dr. Mike's professional interests include sporting dogs, nutrition, and family pet counseling. His professional affiliations include the American Veterinary Medical Association, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association and Cobb County Veterinary Association. His hobbies include woodworking, boat making, and being in the great outdoors. He lives in Canton with his wife, Trudy. They have two college-aged sons.
